Not ready to publish

These pages are a draft. The facts below are not yet known, and everywhere one of them belongs the page prints [TO BE SUPPLIED] rather than a guess — an invented address or registration number on a page that governs a sale is a false record, not a placeholder.

  • Principal place of business
  • Customer-care telephone
  • Telephone hours
  • Grievance officer's name
  • Grievance officer's designation
  • City of jurisdiction

Fill them in src/lib/institute.ts — each one reads from a NEXT_PUBLIC_INSTITUTE_* environment variable, and this notice removes itself when the last is set.

Write or telephone. Those are the two routes the institute can answer, and both are answered by a person — there is no form on this page and no queue behind one.

Address for a written complaint
[TO BE SUPPLIED]

A complaint is acknowledged within 48 hours of reaching the officer, and settled within one month of that acknowledgement. Write from the email address on the account, and quote the order number from the receipt: it identifies the purchase without anybody having to ask for anything else.

Your data

Requests under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act — a copy of what the institute holds about you, a correction to it, or its erasure — go to brahmanprabha@gmail.com, addressed to the grievance officer named above, who handles them. Write from the email address on the account: it is how the institute knows whose data it is being asked about.

What is collected, who else sees it and how long it is kept are set out in the privacy policy.

What to write about what

  • Payments and refunds — write to brahmanprabha@gmail.com with the order number from your receipt. The stance on refunds is in the refund policy.
  • Something you paid for that you cannot open — a lecture that will not play, a seat that has not appeared, a test that will not start: the same address, with the order number and the name of the course or series.
  • Data requests — the same address, addressed to the grievance officer, as above.
  • Reporting misuse — an account sharing a paid lecture, a worksheet republished elsewhere, somebody presenting themselves as the institute: the same address. What is and is not allowed is in the terms of use.

The institute’s policies

If the institute has not settled it

Write to the grievance officer first: almost everything is a payment that has not matched an order, and that is settled in a day. If it is not settled, a consumer may take it further, at no cost to themselves:

Neither route is closed by writing to the institute first, and neither is a condition of the other.
