Not ready to publish

These pages are a draft. The facts below are not yet known, and everywhere one of them belongs the page prints [TO BE SUPPLIED] rather than a guess — an invented address or registration number on a page that governs a sale is a false record, not a placeholder.

  • Principal place of business
  • Customer-care telephone
  • Telephone hours
  • Grievance officer's name
  • Grievance officer's designation
  • City of jurisdiction

Fill them in src/lib/institute.ts — each one reads from a NEXT_PUBLIC_INSTITUTE_* environment variable, and this notice removes itself when the last is set.

Cancellation and Refunds

What you can cancel yourself, how to ask for a refund of something you have already paid for, what comes back in full whatever else we decide, and how long each step takes.

Last updated 20 September 2026.

What this covers

Two things are sold on this site: online video courses and online test series. This policy covers both, and nothing else is sold separately.

Mentoring is not a separate purchase. A half-hour with a mentor comes with an enrolment and is never charged for on its own, so there is nothing to refund on a mentoring session by itself. Refunding the enrolment closes the mentoring that came with it.

An order you have not paid for

An order that is still awaiting payment is yours to close. Open it under Purchases and cancel it there, at any time, with no reason and nobody to ask. If you simply leave it, it closes by itself seven days after it was placed.

No money is involved either way. An unpaid order has taken nothing from you, and cancelling it takes nothing back — it only releases the coupon, if one was held on it, so you can use it on another order.

Requests are considered individually, on a written request to the institute. There is no fixed window, and there is no automatic entitlement to a refund: a course is delivered in full the moment you pay, so what is fair depends on how much of it you have already had.

So that the decision is not a matter of mood, here is what we actually look at:

  • how much of the material has been opened — lessons, readings, worksheets;
  • how many lectures have been watched against the view allowance the course page states before you buy;
  • whether any test in the series has been sat;
  • how long ago the payment was made.

A request made before anything has been opened is the easiest one for us to say yes to. Whatever we decide, we give you our reasons in writing.

What is always returned in full

Three things come back whole, and none of them is a matter of judgement, because each is a fact about our software rather than a concession we are making:

  • a duplicate payment — the same seat paid for twice;
  • money debited where no access was granted;
  • a charge for a course or a test series the institute withdrew before your access began.

You do not have to argue for these. Write to us once, quoting the order number, and we return the whole amount.

What is not refundable

  • The discount a coupon took off. There is nothing to give back, because you never paid it: a refund returns what was debited, which is the amount printed on your receipt.
  • A free enrolment. Nothing was paid for it, so nothing comes back; the seat is simply closed.

How to ask

There is one route, and it is writing to us. Email brahmanprabha@gmail.com from the address your account uses, with the order number in the subject line. The order number is on the order page under Purchases, beside the date it was placed.

What the letter must contain

  • the order number;
  • the name of the course or test series;
  • the date and the amount of the payment, as the receipt prints them;
  • what you would like to happen, and why.

We acknowledge every such letter within 48 hours of receiving it, which is the period Rule 4(5) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 allows. An acknowledgement is not yet a decision; the decision follows it.

How long each step takes

StepWhen
We acknowledge your letterWithin 48 hours
We tell you the decision, with reasonsWithin 7 working days of the request
An approved refund reaches your bank or card5 to 7 working days after we send it

The last figure is the payment network’s, not ours, and your bank’s own clearing time sits on top of it. A refund goes back to the method that paid — the same card, the same UPI handle, the same account. It is never paid in cash and never into a different account, and that is not a rule we could bend if we wanted to: the gateway reverses the original transaction, it does not make a new one.

Tax on a refund

Minds of Aspirants is not registered under GST. No GST is charged, and the price shown is the whole price. A refund therefore returns exactly what was debited, with nothing held back on account of tax.

What happens to your access

A refund closes the seat the order granted. From the moment it is recorded, that course or test series leaves your dashboard and its lectures, readings, worksheets and tests stop opening.

Your own work stays. Highlights, video notes and drill answers remain in your account after the seat closes — they are yours, not ours — and they are where you left them if you enrol again later.

A payment that failed

Sometimes a payment fails after the money has already left your account. Nobody has to ask for that back: the bank reverses it on its own, usually within 5 to 7 working days, because the charge was never completed at our end and there is nothing for us to return.

If more than seven working days pass and it has not come back, write to us with the order number and your bank’s reference for the debit, and we will chase it with the payment gateway.

Chargebacks

Come to us first. A chargeback raised without writing to us costs both sides weeks over something an email usually settles in a day, and it forces the bank to decide a question we could have answered.

While a chargeback is being investigated we may suspend access to the item it concerns, for as long as it takes: the money for it is held by the bank at that point, and not by us.

If we cancel

Sometimes it is the institute that stops. If we withdraw a course you are enrolled on, or cancel a test you have paid to sit, you choose between a pro-rata refund of the part you did not get and a credit of the same value against anything else we sell. We write to you first, and the choice is yours — we do not pick for you.

If the answer does not satisfy you

Write to our grievance officer, [TO BE SUPPLIED], [TO BE SUPPLIED], at brahmanprabha@gmail.com, or by post to [TO BE SUPPLIED]. Under Rule 4(5) of the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020 a complaint is acknowledged within 48 hours and redressed within one month; our own seven-working-day decision sits well inside that.

If we have not answered, or the answer is wrong, you can call the National Consumer Helpline on 1915 or file a complaint on the government’s e-daakhil portal at edaakhil.nic.in.

This version

This policy is dated 20 September 2026. When it changes we post the new version here under a new date, and the version that governs an order is the one that stood on this page the day the order was paid.
